For many, it can be a deciding factor in taking a job; especially if you have children at home and a spouse without benefits provided by their workplace.
But, do you know what your employer is covering you for? Do you know where to look?
In most cases, we don’t know either of these answers and the simple idea of this security trumps the reality of what we should probably be asking or knowing.
As an employee with benefits you have different types of insurance attached to your plan. Your family as well as your spouse whether or not they have work coverage, can be covered under your plan, if you opt for this.
Usually in a corporate benefits package you can expect to be covered for these scenarios:

It is important to research the coverage available to you through your employer so you can cover any gaps in your insurance plan.
